San Leandro Creek Floodwall Construction (Zone 12) Waterway: San Leandro Creek. In 2009, a new 30-foot floodwall was built along a section of San Leandro Creek in Oakland. Water from the creek channel was re-routed to another channel upstream during floodwall construction.
